What is MyCouncil?

MyCouncil is a convenient and secure service for people to interact with Sunshine Coast Council online.

You need to register with MyCouncil to:

manage your rates notice delivery method
initiate and track a service request
check account balances

view property and animal registration information
create a listing in the CommunityHub directory
submit a notice of engagement.

If you have already registered with MyCouncil in the past - for personal or business access or as a CommunityHub administrator, please log in.

You only ever need to register once - but there are two different ways to get there.
Choose the most relevant option as a starting point and then you can add anything else you need once you
have registered.

Personal Access

Are you a Sunshine Coast resident, property owner or animal owner?

If you want online access to:

rates notices delivery options
requests for services
property and rates
dog and cat registrations
applications, licenses, renewals and payments

you need personal access to MyCouncil services.

We will ask you for a council reference number.

Full Business Access

Are you an authority for a business, trust or superfund, charity or Government Agency?

If your organisation wants online access to:

rates notice delivery options
property and rates
applications, licenses, renewals and payments
requests for services
lodge building & plumbing applications

you need business access to MyCouncil services.

We will ask you for a letter of authority and a council reference number for your business.

Use MyCouncil as a guest

Basic Business Access

Do you work for a business and want to act on their behalf?

If you work for a business who has registered for MyCouncil Services and want to submit applications and documentation online, then you need to register with MyCouncil.

CommunityHub Access

Do you want to add a listing to the CommunityHub?

If you want to add a Sunshine Coast community group, professional artist or government service to the CommunityHub directory you need to register with MyCouncil.
